What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
When I was a child, my mother instilled in me a deep love for the visual world. Fashion magazines always surrounded her, and while the trends and articles were interesting, what truly captivated me were the photographs. I was fascinated by the details, the poses, and above all, the special atmosphere that these images conveyed. Those photos didn’t just showcase clothes or models; they told stories through beauty and aesthetics.
As a Libra, beauty has always been a constant in my life. It’s something I see and feel naturally, like a personal language that speaks directly to my heart. My friends are even used to me marveling at their appearance every time we meet, starting our conversations with “You look so beautiful!” Seeing joy and beauty in people fills me with happiness and genuine admiration.

Photography allows me to capture and preserve those unique moments of wonder and beauty. It’s my way of immortalizing the impressions and emotions I see and feel so that others can experience them too. Becoming a wedding photographer was a natural way to channel this sensitivity and love for the visual, capturing the essence and splendor of one of the happiest days in a couple’s life.

How would you describe your style?
In terms of the emotions it conveys, I would describe my photographic style as a blend of romance and joy, wrapped in an aesthetic that is both elegant and minimalist. This approach deeply reflects my personality and artistic sensitivity, creating images that are emotive yet visually refined.

I aim for a style that transcends fleeting trends, offering a quality that continues to evoke emotions over time. I strive to capture the essence of each moment with subtlety, allowing the natural beauty and authenticity of the scenes to speak for themselves, all while maintaining thoughtful composition and aesthetic balance that elevates each image to something extraordinary and enduring.

What key aspects do you consider when photographing a wedding at a venue like Son Sampol?
When photographing a wedding at a venue as special as Son Sampol, I focus on several key aspects that make this location a unique gem in Mallorca. First and foremost, I deeply value the care and dedication with which the estate is maintained, both in its exteriors and interiors. The effort of the owners to preserve and honor the family history embedded in every corner of the venue is truly evident.

Additionally, the versatility of Son Sampol is a crucial element. It offers a variety of enchanting spaces that can be tailored to each couple’s needs and desires. From charming spots for the ceremony, filled with natural allure, to elegant interiors and an impressive outdoor area where nature plays a starring role, this richness allows me to creatively work with light and the surroundings. This ensures I can create photographs that encapsulate the vibrant yet serene essence of the venue, highlighting the intimate connection between the setting and the emotions of such a special day.

How do you prepare before a wedding to ensure everything goes perfectly?
Before every wedding, I follow a system to ensure I meet my couple's needs. This protocol helps me be technically and personally prepared for the big day. I recognize that each photographer has their own method, and mine is tailored to different expectations and scenarios.

However, I also understand that "perfect" means something different for every couple. Some couples especially appreciate my calm and serene personality. In moments of unexpected changes or stress, they trust me to guide them through the plan with ease and tranquility. For them, perfection is a peaceful, stress-free experience. Other couples value my creative ideas and seek unique, memorable photographs worthy of a special place in their albums and frames. Then some prioritize capturing every family member’s presence in as many combinations as possible, considering a thorough record of their loved ones the perfect outcome.

The beauty of this process lies in the fact that every definition of perfection is valid and wonderful in its own way. Ideally, I believe every couple should choose their photographer not just for the style but also for their personality—this is how perfection can truly be ensured.

How do you manage lighting and changing environments, especially during outdoor or nighttime weddings?
I’m always on the lookout for the best natural light, as I love working with ambient light for its ability to highlight the beauty and authenticity of the surroundings. Natural light creates a soft, enveloping atmosphere that brings a sense of intimacy and warmth to the images.

That said, I’m fully aware that weddings—particularly those held outdoors or at night—can pose challenges in terms of lighting. In these cases, I adapt my approach flexibly. If conditions don’t allow for working exclusively with natural light, I use flash. My goal is always to achieve a balance, using techniques that respect the ambiance of the moment. This ensures the images capture the essence and beauty of the day, regardless of the lighting conditions.

What do you love most about photography, and how do you apply it to weddings?
What I love most about photography is its ability to capture and preserve the essence of people, becoming a valuable legacy that can transcend generations. For me, photography is not just an artistic medium but a visual testimony of our history, emotions, and personal evolution. In the case of wedding photography, this is magnified, as it reflects who the couple is, their connection, and the promises they share on such a significant day.

I strive to create images that are not only aesthetically beautiful but also resonate deeply with those who view them. I want my photographs to bring joy and warmth to the hearts of family and loved ones, becoming a treasured keepsake. What inspires me most is photography’s power to connect people with the moments that mean so much in their lives.
