On 20 October 2023, Mikita and Lizaveta celebrated their wedding at the idyllic Finca Son Sampol, a venue that perfectly matched their vision of a nature-inspired wedding characterized by rustic simplicity, combined with a minimalist and timeless style. The couple sought a setting that could serve as the perfect backdrop for any decade, and Son Sampol offered exactly that.
From the beginning, Mikita and Lizaveta were clear that they wanted an intimate celebration surrounded by their closest loved ones. With only 30 guests, they succeeded in creating a warm atmosphere, rather than the large crowds that often accompany such celebrations.
"We wanted to celebrate our journey together, sharing the moment with our nearest and dearest. We envisioned an intimate wedding with just 30 guests, instead of a large crowd of over 100," Mikita commented.
Time was a crucial element for the couple. They wished to enjoy each moment without rushing, spending quality time both with each other and their guests. For this reason, the ceremony was officiated by friends, adding a personal and authentic touch to the event.
During the dinner, each toast naturally turned into a heartfelt speech, a tradition much appreciated in their families.
Mikita and Lizaveta felt a bit nervous at first, but thanks to the support of their family and friends, they quickly immersed themselves in the enjoyment of the day.
"Initially, we felt a bit of stage fright, but with the support of our loved ones and the people around us, it was very easy to get into the spirit and start enjoying the journey," Mikita recalled.
The wedding was made possible thanks to Fina, their day-of coordinator.
"We were very fortunate to meet Fina. From that moment, everything changed. She helped us find the perfect venue and magically arranged our make-up artists, hairdressers, and photographers, even at the last minute."
The desire for an outdoor wedding led the couple to seek mild weather and an idyllic setting. Mallorca in October offered incredible weather, with the warmth of the sun but without the excess heat of summer. Upon discovering Son Sampol, they immediately knew it was the right place.
"It had a homely feel, the perfect size, and incredible hospitality from the owners. The surrounding nature was exactly what we were looking for," Mikita explained.
